In the guide learn about:
What admins can do that other users cannot
Administrators (‘admins’) have additional rights over other users.
Admins can:
make other educators admins
invite and remove other educators to a service
add and remove child profiles from a service
manage the permissions of community spaces and conversations
send urgent announcements to parents
if they wish, ensure all draft stories are approved before publication
edit any published story, child note or community post, regardless of its author
manage their service's billing/subscription to Storypark
delete their service's account
If you are an Admin you can grant another educator admin rights. Think carefully before taking this step though because that person can then act on behalf of your service's Storypark account.
You must have a high level of trust in that person, particularly as they can invite other people to view a child's profile, and delete your service’s account.
Each service must have one admin, however we highly recommend that each service on Storypark has at least two admins. This is so that tasks like approving stories are not delayed by a sole admin being unavailable.
How to make another educator an admin
Go to your early learning service’s profile page and click the Teachers tab:
Find the educator you wish to make an admin, tap the arrow in the top right corner of that educator's tile, and from the drop-down menu select Make admin:
To remove an educator's admin rights, tap the arrow in the top right corner of that educator's tile, and from the drop-down menu select Remove as admin:
