In this guide, learn about:

Storypark's pricing plans

When you sign up a new service to Storypark for a trial, you’ll automatically have free, unlimited access for 30 days.

You'll then be able to upgrade to a paid plan. Storypark currently has three pricing plans, Essential, Pro and Multi-site. Plan types determine which features services have access to and single site services can move between plans.

To read about the cost of each plan, the features included and calculate the cost for your service visit the pricing page.

Upgrading from Essential to Pro

If your service is currently on the Essential plan, you can upgrade to the Pro plan at any time.

The Pro plan is ideal for services who want to lift quality, productivity and compliance.

Pro features your service will get access to, as soon as you upgrade:

Pre-populated scaffolds with reflective prompts, from which a new story can be started

Record sign-in, sign-out and absences

Absence notifications (coming soon)

Notify families of unexpected absences

Move children between programs

How to upgrade to the Pro plan

After logging in, any Storypark Admin can go to your service's Account page and upgrade your subscription to the Pro plan.

From the Storypark website, select the settings cog at the top right-hand corner and Account from the drop-down menu:

On your service's Account page, you'll see an overview of your current subscription details, followed by the Your Storypark plan section:

Here you can adjust your pricing plan, number of child profiles as well as billing frequency (monthly/annual).

To upgrade to the Pro plan, click the arrow on the drop-down menu next to Plan type and select Pro:

Below, the invoice total will update with an estimate of the new cost. If you click Update plan, your service be switched over to the Pro plan automatically with access to the added feature set straight away. The description and cost on your invoicing will also change over automatically.

Upgrading to Multi-site

If your service is currently on either the Essential or Pro plans and is part of a multi-site organization that wants better consistency, management and insights across their sites, the Multi-site plan is designed for you.

Multi-site features your organization will gain access to upon upgrade:

Manage how your brand displays to each of your services.

View and compare a range of stats and activity across all your services.

Send messages to educators and families at every service or custom groups of services,

Set up and centrally manage curriculums for current and new/future services.

Create planning templates so that all your services are planning in a consistent way.

Downgrading

If your service is currently on the Pro plan, you can downgrade to the Essentials plan at any time.

This means you'll lose access to any features that are exclusively part of the Pro plan straight away, however any work you've done using these features will not be lost.

How to downgrade to the Essentials plan

After logging in, any Storypark Admin can go to your service's Account page and downgrade your subscription to the Pro plan.

From the Storypark website, select the settings cog at the top right-hand corner and Account from the drop-down menu:

To downgrade to the Essential plan, click the arrow on the drop-down menu next to Plan type and select Essential:

Below, the invoice total will update with an estimate of the new cost. If you click Update plan, your service be switched over to the Essential plan automatically with access to the Pro feature set removed straight away. The description and cost on your invoicing will also change over automatically.

If your organization is on the Multi-site plan and wishes to downgrade, please contact your account manager or get in contact with our team.

Pricing plan FAQs

Q. How do I know what plan my service is currently on?
A. Any Storypark Admin can confirm your service's pricing plan from the Account page.

On this page the Plan type field will display your service's current pricing plan:

Q. What happens to educators' work if my service downgrades?
A. You'll lose access to any features that are exclusively part of the old plan straight away, however any work you've done using these features will not be lost.

For example, attendance records created on a Pro plan will still be accessible even if your service downgrades to the Essential plan. You simply will not be able to record any new attendance records.

Q. Can my service test out features before upgrading?
A. Your service will need to upgrade to access features that aren't provided in your existing plan.

Q. Do you offer refunds to services that downgrade?
A. You'll be automatically assigned credit within our billing system if you move to a cheaper plan part way through a higher plan.
