Family records in Storypark
If your child's centre uses Xap and has turned this feature on, you can view your family's records — held securely by Xap — right from the Storypark for Families app's Admin section. This includes your child's details, guardians, emergency contacts, health information and authorisations.
Note: You'll need to connect your Xap account first. See Families: Connecting your Xap account. Family records are read-only in Storypark – see Making changes below.
Viewing your child's details
From the Admin section, tap Family records and then your child to see their details as held in Xap. This includes date of birth, room, enrolment status, and health information such as allergies, conditions and medications.
Viewing guardians, emergency contacts and nominees
From the same section, you can view the guardians, emergency contacts and authorised pickup people (nominees) linked to your child's record.
Making changes
Family records in the app are read-only. This keeps Xap as the single source of truth for the information your centre relies on for compliance.
To update anything – a new emergency contact, a change to a health condition, and so on – you'll be taken to the Xap parent portal to make the change there. Once updated, it will be reflected back in the app.

Why can't I see Family records in the Admin section?
Family records only appears once you've connected your Xap account.
