Note: this article describes how admin family members can edit or delete their own child's profile. Once an admin family member is connected to a child's profile only they can delete the child's profile. Educators will need to archive the profile.

If you are an admin family member you can edit your child’s details on their profile page:

1. First, tap the Menu button at the top left of the page. Then go to your child's profile by selecting their name and choosing Stories from the drop-down menu:

2. Next, tap Edit to the right of their name:

3. From this page you can edit your child's details, including their name, birthday, gender or profile image:

4. To save your changes, tap the Save button.

Note: Don't see the edit button? You may not be an admin family member. Click the Family tab under the child's name to see who is currently an admin family member for the child.

If you are an admin family member you can delete a child’s profile from Storypark.

Once a child's profile is deleted, there is no going back – all content including stories and notes will be permanently removed.

To delete a child's profile:

1. First, tap the Menu button at the top left of the page. Then go to your child's profile by selecting their name and choosing Stories from the drop-down menu:

2. Click Edit to the right of their name:

3. Scroll down the page to the heading Delete from Storypark - To remove the child, click the Delete this child button:

If you have downloaded the Storypark for Families app, you can log into your account and edit or delete your child's profile.

Note: Prior to deleting, please make sure you are certain you wish to delete your child's profile. Once a child's profile is deleted, there is no going back – all content including stories and notes will be permanently removed.
