How to add records for guardians and contacts
After adding a child, you can add their guardians and contacts from their profile, under the Family tab.
Select Add
Choose whether you want to add a Guardian, Contact or Sibling
You’ll be able to create a new record for them or select from existing Guardians and Contacts at your service.
Note: this adds a record for them, but does not automatically invite them to create a Storypark account.
How to invite Guardians to Storypark
After adding a guardian, you can invite them to Storypark.
On a child’s Family tab, select the three dots to the right of the child's details and tap Send Storypark invite. The guardian will receive an email inviting them to access their child’s profile. If they already have a Storypark account, they'll log in with their account, or be prompted to set up an account if they don't already have one.
Labels next to a guardian will indicate whether they have No Storypark access or a Pending invitation so you can see who needs to be invited or who still needs to accept their invitation.
How to add a Sibling
To link siblings in Storypark, each child will need a profile already created under the Children tab.
From a child's profile tap the Family tab
Tap Add and select Sibling
Enter the sibling's name and select them from the drop-down list
What are ‘Family-only connections’?
These are any additional people who are not guardians or contact records that are managed by your service but have been invited by the family to the child’s Storypark profile. They may be grandparents, extended family, or support people for the child. They can see the child’s stories in the Storypark app, comment and create moments for the child.
