Learning sets created at a centre can be managed by admin educators from the Storypark website.

Exceptions:

  • Non-admin educators can only access a read only view of the Learning sets page

  • For services that are part of a network, Head Office learning sets can only be edited and deleted by network admins from the network dashboard. These sets exist across every service on the network.

Rename an existing learning set at your service

Admin educators can rename any learning set created from the service's Learning sets page.

Once you've selected the set in the Our learning sets box:

1. Tap the Edit button in the top right corner:

2. In the Set Name field you can edit the name of the set and then click Update learning set:

Activate or deactivate learning sets

Storypark Admins can also activate and deactive learning sets created at their service to manage whether they are accessible for use in stories and plans.

Activating a learning set

Activating a learning set allows it to be used by all educators at the service. This can be done by sliding the toggle across on any set in the Our learning sets box:

Once activated, the learning set will automatically be available for use in stories and plans straight away.

Note for services on a network: Activating from the learning sets page does not apply to Head Office learning sets, as they can only be managed by networks admins from the network dashboard.

Deactivating a learning set

If you need to temporarily or permanently remove a learning set from use, you can make it inactive. This can be done by tapping the toggle on any set in the Our learning sets box:

Once deactivated, the learning set will automatically be unavailable for use in new stories and plans. Any learning tags from the set that have been previously applied to published stories or plans will remain.

Note for services on a network: Deactivating from the learning sets page does not apply to Head Office learning sets, as they can only be managed by networks admins from the network dashboard.

Delete an existing learning set at your service

Admin educators can delete any learning set created from the service's Learning sets page.

Once you've selected the set in the Our learning sets box:

1. Tap the Edit button in the top right corner:

2. Press Delete at the bottom left-hand corner of the pop-up window and the learning set will be deleted from your service for all educators:

Note: Tags from the deleted set stay displayed on published stories and plans unless an educator chooses to edit them. If you edit a story or plan that has those tags, they will disappear.

Edit, move and delete folders

You can move a folder to be located within the main learning set, or create a sub-folder within other folders in the learning set that you are editing. It’s a little like adding folders on your computer.
