Make Storypark more personal to the people in your community by adding your service's logo to Storypark. (You could use a relevant profile image if you don't have a logo.)

Your logo/profile image will appear in two places – on each of your service's profile pages, and at the top of every notification email that gets sent to your Storypark community, such as when a story or community post gets posted.

In the guide, learn about:

1. Profile areas
2. Email notifications and your service's logo

Profile areas

If you've uploaded a logo it will show here (below is an example logo):

If you haven't upload a logo, you'll see a default image:

Email notifications

If you've uploaded a logo it will appear at the top of all the emails that are sent to your Storypark community:

If you haven't upload a logo, your emails will display a Storypark logo:

Who can add or edit a service's logo?

You need to be an Admin at your early learning service in order to add or edit your logo in Storypark.

Adding your profile image or logo

1. Tap Menu on the left-hand side of the website.
2. Select your learning service's name in the menu and go to the Stories tab.
3. From there you can tap Edit next to your service's name:

4. Tap the Add profile pic button and select a file from your device.

5. Once the file has finished loading, scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Save.

Editing your profile image

Tapping the Edit button on your profile image will open a popover box where you are able to crop and rotate your profile picture:

Tips on how to get the best from your logo

Uploaded logos will be scaled to fit their specified area within Storypark. You'll get the best result if your logo has a similar width-to-height ratio, ie. it's relatively square. Logos that are extra wide, or extra tall won't display well as they will become too small to see.

For the best quality image, upload a logo that is larger than it appears on Storypark, ideally, at least 300px wide and 300 px high. If you start with a logo that is too small it will be scaled up and look fuzzy in both Storypark and your emails.

You'll get the best results if you upload the original design file of your logo as a high quality PNG or a JPG.

If you don't have either of those, you may be able to find your logo on your website/intranet, or by doing a Google search for the name of your service, right-clicking and selecting 'Save as'. Be careful with this method though because if the image is too small or on a coloured background it will not display well in Storypark.

You can crop your logo within Storypark, but if you need to first resize or adjust parts of your logo, you can do this if you have an image editing programme on your computer or tablet. Alternatively, you could find an online tool by doing a Google search such as 'crop, resize, edit images online', and following the instructions.
