In this guide learn about:
What team draft visibility does
When it's switched on, admins at a service can see every educator's draft stories there, not just their own.
Turning it on
This feature can be switched on by Storypark. If you lead a multi-site organisation and you'd like it, tell your account manager which services to add it to. We can switch it on for a single service, a group of services, or your whole organisation.
Finding your team's drafts
Go to Menu, Draft stories, then look for the Team drafts tab
Team drafts lists drafts from every service where you're an admin and team draft visibility is switched on.
Team drafts are available in Storypark on the web right now, not in the Storypark for Educators app.
Working with someone else's draft
Admins can duplicate a team member's draft, which creates a copy in their own drafts. They can't edit, publish, share or delete the original unless the current editor makes them the editor.
What this means for educators
If your service has team draft visibility switched on, it's worth knowing what changes for you.
Admins at your centre can see all your drafts – not just the ones you've shared. Other educators can't, and neither can families.
They can read and copy, not change – your draft stays yours until you publish it.
You won't get a notification when an admin opens one of your drafts.
Your Educator Portfolio isn't affected – portfolio stories and drafts belong to you, not the service, and stay private unless you share them with a contributor.
Sharing works exactly as before – you can still share a draft with a colleague from the Shared with options.
If you're not sure whether it's switched on at your service, ask your service leader.
