What is Single Sign-On (SSO)?
Single Sign-On (SSO) allows you to use one set of login credentials (your email address and email password) to securely access multiple applications, including Storypark. Instead of remembering separate passwords for each service, SSO streamlines your login process and enhances security.
Currently, Storypark's SSO offering supports Microsoft Entra and Azure only.
How does SSO change how I log in to Storypark?
If your organisation uses SSO with Storypark, you'll need to log in using your organisation’s SSO credentials each time you access Storypark.
Logging into Storypark via a web browser
Enter your email address and tap Log in with SSO
You'll be taken to your organisation's chosen platform (in this example, Microsoft), where you can confirm your login credentials.
Enter the company email address and password you use for your company email here:
If you’re already signed in to your organisation’s SSO platform, you might not need to sign in again. When you choose to log in with SSO, Storypark may log you in straight away.
Logging into Storypark via the Educators app
Open the Storypark Educators app.
Enter your email address.
If your organisation has SSO set up, you will be automatically logged in (no password required).
Who do I contact if we want to use SSO at our organisation?
If your organisation does not currently use SSO but is interested in setting it up, please contact your head office, and they'll contact your Storypark Account Manager.
What do I do if I need help with my SSO login?
If you're having trouble logging in with SSO or need additional support, please contact your internal team or IT department. They'll be best positioned to help you resolve SSO-related questions.

Is this SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) SSO?
Yes, it is the SAML protocol.
Can you provide an integrated, one-click login experience for educators?
Not at this time. We offer users the ability to log in to Storypark using their work email address, authenticated via SSO through their organisation's identity provider. This ensures secure, seamless authentication without separate credentials.
Do you support SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) for identity management?
At this time, SCIM is out of scope.
My organisation is interested; what do you require to progress the SSO implementation?
The following is necessary on your end to support the successful implementation of Storypark's SSO offering:
During setup:
An internal SSO system
Set up of Entra's SAML system
During testing
A delegated person within your organisation to do testing
Single user testing (Note: another domain is required for this)
Access to mail registers for the above-mentioned domain
