Windows
Windows 10 or 11
Click the Start button, then select Settings > System > About.
Under "Windows specifications," you will see your edition and version.
Alternatively:
Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
Type
winver
and press Enter.A window will appear showing your Windows version and build number.
Windows 7 or 8
Right-click Computer (or This PC on Windows 8) and select Properties.
Your Windows edition and version are listed under "Windows edition."
Alternatively:
Click the Start button.
Type
winver
into the search box and press Enter.A window will appear displaying your version.
Mac (macOS)
Click the Apple menu (top-left corner of your screen).
Select About This Mac.
A window will appear showing the macOS name (e.g., macOS Sequoia), version number, and build number.
Chromebook (Chrome OS)
Click the Time in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
Select Settings > About ChromeOS.
Under "Google ChromeOS," you’ll see the version number.
iPhone or iPad (iOS/iPadOS)
Open the Settings app.
Tap General > About.
Your software version is displayed next to "iOS Version."
Android
Open the Settings app.
Scroll down and select About phone (or About device).
Look for "Software information" or "Android version" to see your OS version.
